New web-site of the UN Programme on Ageing
The newly designed web-site provides information about global demographic ageing and older persons around the world as well as a variety of ageing-related UN documents, publications, events and meetings.

First working session of the Open-ended Working Group on Ageing for the purpose of strengthening the protection of the human rights of older persons
The Open-ended Working Group held its first session on 18-21 April 2011. The Programme of work, the Chair's summary as well as statements, presentations and documents submitted to the Working Group are available online.
